How many type of Solar Cells are there?
There are three types mainly;
- Amorphous Solar Panels: These are quite affordable and hence, have the lowest durability and efficiency rates compared to the other two types.
- Polycrystalline Solar Panels: These are commonly used and found in neighborhoods and are easily identified by their blue color. These solar cells are the most desirable among people having a large space to install them and still want to save their pockets.
- Monocrystalline Solar Panels: These panels are recommended by any experienced solar EPC in Bangladesh mainly for their high-efficiency rates and durability. Moreover, the monocrystalline panels require the least installation space, thus are a great choice for those having space shortage issues. Being the most productive panels, these are the most expensive among the three mentioned above.
